The CCJ Foundation has been officially registered.
For many years The Country Club Johannesburg has made significant charitable donations with funds raised from initiatives such as our Charity Golf Days, various other sporting initiatives and Carols by Candlelight. Now, following requests from members, the CCJ Foundation has been established to formalise and consolidate our charity efforts and direct the funds to causes closer to our members’ hearts.
The primary goal of the Foundation will be the welfare and upliftment of the CCJ staff and caddies. However, it is envisaged that, as the Foundation grows, beneficiaries will include worthy local organisations and our community at large.
The CCJ Foundation is an official Trust
The Trust is registered as a PBO and can issue Section 18A tax certificates for donations received. The founder trustees are Ian
Cruickshank, Mohale Ralebitso and Norman Kennelly.
Selection of Beneficiaries for receipt of Awards

•Welfare and humanitarian causes
•Education and development (training, scholarships, bursaries, study loans, etc.)
•Conservation and animal welfare
•Cultural initiatives (preservation of the Arts, culture and customs)
•Any initiative where the beneficiary qualifies as a Public Benefit Organisation
The Trustees will regulate the processes and procedures for the selection of beneficiaries.
