Built in 1962, the Club’s cricket oval is nestled amid Auckland Park’s sweeping greenery and large oak trees. The cricket season runs from September to early April and offers members a competitive yet informal way of connecting with fellow lovers of the game. The Club’s two representative teams, the Goblins and the Staggerers, play regular social games throughout the season and annual highlights include national tours and a competitive match against the highly esteemed “Oppenheimer XI”.

Cricket nets are available at both Auckland Park and Woodmead and are frequently used by the youth of the club.
